God bless this mess

It’s a strange time these days, hanging at home, hardly getting dressed … and only emerging to stay at least six feet away from your fellow grungey quarantiners.

But ironically, I’ve been clinging to smelling good. American Provenance was created by Kyle LaFond, a former middle school science teacher who had concern over the questionable ingredients in the brands he noticed his students using (love this motivation!). Offering a safe and natural solution with only FIVE base ingredients, American Provenance makes all its own products in its Southern Wisconsin facility.

American Provenance believes that if you make a better product - a pure product - it’s better for everyone- your body, the environment, animals - and overall a better American business. With coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter, aluminum-free baking soda, and arrowroot powder, the deos are basic in a good way - but never boring.

The more traditionally female-centric scents have amazing names like Daggers & Diamonds (Rose, Bergamot, Jasmine) and Pinups & Paramours (Coriander, Mandarin, Tangerine). The more traditional dude scents include Fastballs & Fisticuffs (Lemongrass, Bergamot, Marjoram) Firepits & Flannels (Wintergreen, Fir, Cedar), and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades (Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Clove) … so, super giftable for Dad’s day. (And PS I’m really into the more dude-centric scents for myself … so clean and soothing).
