no taupe no hope

Olive & June was opened in 2013 by founder Sarah Tuttle when she relocated from NYC to Beverly Hills and couldn’t find a nail salon she liked (how’s that for self-fulfillment). She named company after her great grandmother and grandmother, and has recently branched out to making polishes and nail accessories of her own - and dang, they are good.

I’m always ALWAYS looking for good nail nudes and this taupe color is truly my go-to for the moment. It’s not too pink, not too brown, and perfectly between that chalky opaque look that gets really chippy … and something sheer.

Caroline is the OG of Olive and June. Providing a neutral look, the Caroline goes on smooth and is streak-free, which I think is really hard to find in an opaque/pastel color that has white pigment. Also, pick up the cutest llamas you have ever seen with the My BFF Is A Llama nail art stickers. Comes with tiny cacti & adorable desert flowers … come on now.
