When I say I’ve been using this product When I say I’ve been using this product religiously, I guess I really mean it. Ritualistically spraying my face and pillows every night and praying I look good in the morning is as good a religious practice as any, I suppose. I discovered Santa Maria Novella products in Venice in a tiny store next to my hotel. It was so monastically peaceful in there that the shopkeeper was literally asleep. I could have taken everything in sight but … I had the feeling Someone might be watching. There’s a New York outpost of this beautifully old-school skin, body, hair and fragrance brand (some of the formulations are 600 years old) … so lately I’ve been picking up the Rose Water and Orange Blossom Water and alternating. The rose is a bit more moisturizing while the orange blossom is nice for oily moments. They both smell divine literally, and the simple packaging and universal appeal makes them great gifts.
