Time for a  #CultBrand shout out to nyakio.

This line takes the best-of-skincare ingredients from Africa and modernizes them, resulting in spa-worthy products, all wrapped up in art deco packaging that’s hard to resist. The brand was created by a first-generation American from Kenya, who makes everything with her grandmother’s African beauty secrets in mind …

The giant fig Collection - from which I’ve been using the giant fig body wash - features the Gabon Giant Fig as well as African Honeybush Tea, an antioxidant-rich concoction that leaves skin looking gorgeous - and smelling delicious.

We also tried the kenyan coffee body scrub (a fan favorite) from the kenyan coffee collection. The scrub has a rich coffee meets shea butter aroma. Just like a cup of coffee works wonders in the morning, coffee on skin has amazing exfoliating/revitalizing benefits.

Another source of skin-caffeine-rejuvenation can be found in the kola nut, the third collection from nyakio. A combination of the hydrating face oil and hydrating lip balm with kola and trichilia oils leaves my face feeling rich with moisture, and like I just spent bundles at an upscale spa.

Browse the nyakio ingredients library to see all of the beauty wonders each product has to offer.
