The Korean brand Sulwhasoo sent me these beautiful limited edition Shineclassic compacts - click the video above to see the reveal and all their beautiful details.
I was so impressed by the thoughtfulness and high design in every aspect of the item and packaging. Not to be corny but seriously, I am fondlinghoarding cherishing them!
Sulwhasoo products combine Korean heritage and beauty rituals with technology, with a focus on traditional herbal ingredients. Below you can see a bit about the process of creating these compacts, in which artisans translate the “five virtues of Korean beauty” - virtue, nobility, health, wealth and longevity. (These sound pretty universal to me!)
I have oily skin concerns so I always carry around blotting papers but … *upgrade*… these are stunning and the Shineclassic powder is very sheer and oil absorbing without adding too much color.
These would make a beautiful gift and are definitely something to hold on to for a lifetime. They’re available here in the U.S. exclusively at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman.
If you’re new to this brand, I also recommend their cult Concentrated Ginseng Oiland their concentrated herbal mist.
