One of my favorite places to discover
One of my favorite places to discover beauty products and wine <- winning combination is actually a packaging design site called The Dieline.
This is where I found One Love Organics - they had me at “waterless skincare” which I truly believe is the wave of the future. As someone in the industry, I can tell you that a large amount of what’s in those lovely bottles you’re buying is purified waa-waa.
This Skin Savior Waterless Multi Balm is super-pure and concentrated goodness that triples as a cleanser, moisturizer, and lip balm [OK, the last part might not be on the package, but it does.] I’m acne-prone so I took a bit of a leap of faith in trying a balm product, but it paid off.
It’s a light balm that gets creamy once you break the surface. It goes on very non-greasy, and honestly when I used it as a cleanser I did NOT want to wipe it off. It felt so quenching. But I couldn’t resist trying out the New Best Friend Skin Shammy [that’s really the name - LOVE].
You simply wet the shammy and gently wipe off your face. The shammy saves water, exfoliates very gently, and dries super quickly. I love this thing.
Afterwards, I put the balm on again! And left it. And put it on my lips. And then put it on ice cream. not the last part.
5 days later, no breakouts and my skin feels nicely hydrated. If you’ve always wanted to try a cleansing balm/shammy duo - which is on a lot of people’s cult beauty product lists - this is a great one.
