Ok, so I was not remotely excited about the royal wedding [and I grew up in England … you would think I would care at little!].

Ok, so I was not remotely excited about the royal wedding [and I grew up in England … you would think I would care at little!].

I really thought the last thing in the world I would write about was Kate Middleton’s wedding choices.

But I’ve been saving up images to do a post about flower tiaras.  Lately I’ve just been entranced by this idea, the romance of it … the idea that you don’t wear perfume, just the blooms.  I wore gardenias in my hair at my wedding (not a tiara though - kind of on the side) and they smelled lovely.  I would have gone full tiara but my dress was rather simple and Roman and I think it would have looked a little costume-y/Imitation of Christ The Literal Collection.

Imagine my GLEEFUL SQUEAL surprise when I read just now that Kate is rumoured to be considering flowers in her hair instead of a tiara.  Just imagine the tiara that’s “instead of.”

So, listen, now I have to watch the royal wedding, OK?  Because now a) I like her and b) I need to see the GLORY that would be a royal flower tiara.

Don’t you hope she does this?
