Last week I had the privilege of going to Elements Showcase, and peep some of the latest greatest products on the market. Turns out just when you think they’ve thought of it all, they haven’t! I was surprised by the amount of new creativity and innovation in beauty.

Here were some of my favorites…

1. sjal skincare Sjal is a Swedish word meaning spirit, mind, heart, & soul. Created around the notion that health and beauty is the result of connectivity between the spirit, mind, heart & soul. I’ve mentioned that I’m from Colorado? Totally into this. Each product has a mineral element to it - sapphire, nano gold, silver, or pearl. This notion of connectivity and minerals must work because the creators had the most beautiful skin I’d ever seen.

2.Brass Engraved Nails by K/LLER I’m not one to choose favorites but… I saw these nails, and I died a little. Ever since my plain un-brass-embellished ring finger is just looking a little sub-par. This line of jewelry is in fact Killer. I want all of it. I’ll have to start with a brass nail, or two.

3. Canvas & Concrete A fragrance primer. Could this be the next big thing? Spritz on before your scent to assure it sticks. AND! If you want to switch from day to nigh aroma, spray this over your first scent and it takes the smell away, prepping you for a new one. It is Concrete yet also a Canvas. Brilliant right?

4. STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! This line of products was sitting alone, unrepresented. I stopped to check it out because the not-so-abstract-message left me curious. I found their website which was entirely in German, but you can guess from the name what these are all about. Completely natural skin care line with biodegradable packing and an Eco message to not waste water. Straight up and to the point. I dig it.

5. Liaison de Parfum  Another product that won me over with the typography. Each bottle has a message ie. “Stay With Me” that comes in a box shaped like an envelope. On the back of each box is a poem/story that leads to the fragrance name. The scents range from light and floral to deep and gourmand. It comes as no surprise, the scent is a reflection of the parfums story. Talk about the perfect gift

You might find it hard to believe, but this wasn’t all of my cult discoveries… stay tuned
