I h… — It’s an irony of winter that although my skin is all nice and clear (no summer sweat and grime), it is far from glow-y. I also find that foundation, and even some tinted moisturizers, looks terrible on my skin when it’s remotely dry. I hate when you can see the makeup chilling on your upper dermis. So, when this box arrived from bareMinerals that said Hydrating **GEL** Cream [crazy caps and stars mine], I was crossing my fingers for miracle.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Gel Moisturizer ($29) and Smoothing Face Brush ($28)
This bad boy is plump with hydrators so it boosts skin’s moisture by over 200% - but they aren’t greasy, serum-like moisturizers - it’s gel, like it says on the tube! The brush means you can blend it in flawlessly too, and it really sinks into skin. For me, this is the new cult tinted moisturizer - a rose any other name is still a light kinda foundation but not really, so call it what you want. It does rescue my complexion though, that’s for sure.
