I love a product that just GOES THERE, despite their legal team probably pulling their hair out, throwing chairs and crying.
Clean & Clear Advantage Popped Pimple Relief is one of those products - just read this j'amaze copy:
Although dermatologists do not recommend intentionally popping pimples (and you know it’s not the best thing for your skin), they can inevitably end up getting popped.
“Getting popped” - best use of passive language I’ve seen this year! And you know there was a version that read “And gurl, you knowit’s not…” Anyway, I’m prouda ya, Clean & Clear, because this product is perfectly targeted and makes complete sense. Also, it works.
I’m always “getting popped” ew, wrong-sounding - and it is bad for your skin, it definitely can cause scarring - but even Dr. Oz has shared the “right” way to do it [VIDEO - if you’re about to eat, do not click] … so let’s move on and talk about treatment.
This is a salicylic acid pen that helps dry out the zit and also creates a “seal." The main deal with the seal, for me at least, is that it enables you to apply concealer over the offensive area. The biggest problem with a popped blemish is that somehow, biologically, concealer just won’t adhere to it - or it cakes etc. etc. This really helps with that. Also, just having this pen around reminds you to treat the area rather than just averting your eyes from it … and it really speeds up the healing time. They also make a paste version that I haven’t tried.
Anyway, go there! (It works just as well on a non-popped pimple).
Does this: Helps heal pimples (popped or not) and creates a seal over which you can apply concealer
