I came across Mullein & Sparrow on Instagram (points for brand tagging), immediately pulled up their website, and saw a bag full of dried flowers. To my pleasant surprise, these were not for potpourri but for a facial steam.

Mullein & Sparrow is old world herbal remedies meets new world beauty. The founder, Anit, is an herbalist who quit her corporate fashion job to travel the world where she discovered and studied plant based healing practices in countries spanning from Asia to South America. Upon her return to NYC, she started her career in skincare. Cue —> new brand, old practices.

If you are a believer in yoga/western medicine/holistic thinking/the power of a strong cup of tea - this line is for you. All natural ingredients, essential oils, and unique herbal remedies combine to meet all of your basic beauty needs including: body oils, bath salts, exfoliants, face masks, face cleansers, even dry shampoo powder and cheek tints. All delivered in little brown boxes stamped Mullein & Sparrow. (points for packaging)

If anything, try this facial detox steam. Aside from detoxing it is sooo relaxing. My apartment smelled other worldy afterwards - in a great way.
