Fashion has long mined Morocco for inspiration … it’s interesting that beauty has gone there too, of late.

Argan Oil is only produced in Morocco, supposedly only by a single women’s cooperative. (I’d be interested to know if this is really true - if it is, I love the stuff even more).  It’s my favorite oil of late, second only to my long-standing love, Rose Oil.

Imagine my ecstasy when I discovered Le Sultane de Saba Argan Rose Face Oil, from this cult French brand.  It combines the wonderful healing and moisturizing properties of argan with my favorite scent, which is best described as … raw rose.

This has the beautiful, smooth, quick-absorbing feel that’s unique to Argan Oil in my opinion. I use it as a facial moisturizer on extremely dry days, but mostly I used it for my hands and nails.  (I love argan oil for nails, I’m convinced it makes my nails grow).

If you’re lucky enough to live in Europe, or stumble upon it while traveling, do pick it up.  The entire line is amazing, by the way.
