refullfillment

I really REALLY love powder mineral foundations. If you’re looking to clean up your beauty bag with naturals I can’t recommend enough giving these a shot. They are not necessarily drying or powdery, just depends on the brand and product. Alima Pure is focused clean minimal ingredients with maximum impact, carbon neutral, and built on refillable compacts, gives 1% to the planet and offers 45 SHADES (!!) of foundation so the brand is a GREAT place to start.

In warm weather my skin gets VERY shiny so I actually love to switch to a powder foundation. Alima’s Pressed Foundation with Rosehip Antioxidant Complex is sort of beyond coverage in that it also acts as an oil-absorbing layer and gives a nice matte finish without being overly powdery looking. It comes in SEVENTEEN shades with a refillable compact ($34 with the compact and $22 for refills). It’s sort of old school to throw a compact like this in your bag but it does really helps sort of re-finish your look after a hard day of work / working out and what not.

If you’re into more coverage, the Satin Matte Foundation ($28) is a beautiful complexion enhancer that really evens out skin tone. Even though it’s powder, it doesn’t set into lines … it’s creamy and airy and comes in 45 shades (!).
