get on that glow up

We get a lot of tooth whitening stuff around here but Glowup intrigued us. First up - it just looks nice: easy to use and travel-friendly. But also - it’s the only whitening kit that is specifically tailored to your smile. I have super sensitive teeth - I can’t even use regular drugstore whitestrips on my bottom teeth because it feels like I got electrocuted … So I was happy to take a quick questionnaire in hopes of getting something that would work for me to whiten … but not frighten?

Here’s what I loved about this whitening kit, besides the fact that the formula was customized to be not too strong for my babyish teeth… It’s really awesome to travel with (and this means it’s also easy to deal with at home in your bathroom or lounging on your very own sofa). I spend a lot of downtime in hotel rooms and the LED light (which uses 16 LEDs that speed up the whitening process by 50%, same as what dentists use) is super small and just plugs into your iphone or Android phone to light up (so smart). You can just throw one syringe of the minty gel formula in your bag (it has a cap) to fill your mouthpiece thingy for a few days. I never remember to whiten at home so watching Shark Tank while polishing my pearly whites is literally my new road ritual.

I genuinely don’t think there has been such huge innovation in at-home whitening that one brand has the holy grail of formulas … I think it’s about finding a program that works for you so you’re doing more to whiten your teeth and keep them white (if this is what you’re into) vs. just brushing. It has to be simple, easy to handle, and not irritating to your mouth/teeth (this formula has aloe and other anti-inflammatory ingredients). I also love that if you’re not happy with the formula, you can get a swap out … and you can subscribe to refills so you keep up the bright work.

PS It’s vegan & cruelty free.
