full recovery

Unpopular opinion: baking causes breakouts. I swear though. I’m really into making cakes and recently got into making sourdough bread [like the rest of the nation] - and all of this is cool but it has made my skin HORRIBLE. The first way to treat this is to change from the inside: probiotics and avoiding sugar/gluten/yeast. The second (or in parallel) way is an antiinflammatory skincare routine. Michele Evrard, founder of Cosmetics 27, believes that skin is capable of optimized self regulation - homeostasis - as well as true regeneration. Her 91% natural recovery serum is a biomimetic formula, meaning it isn’t meant to change your skin per se, but to support it’s healthy, natural cycle. Importantly, it’s designed to strengthen the balance and diversity of the skin microbiota, which gets thrown off by a diet that is out of balance.

Recovery 27 soothes stressed skin with cannabis sativa (hemp) seed extract, chicory root, distilled waters of lemon balm and lettuce [which I am not eating enough of… ] and generally feels like its helping your skin without trying too hard - which many skin treatments suffer from. I’m using it to heal my acne while I slowly wean myself from the good life into the green life (um, we’ll see how long this lasts).
