Here’s how we fall in love at Cult of Pretty: an email comes that does not say “Tips & Tricks” or “Must-Have” in the subject. The email is written by a passionate founder of a beauty company. A correspondence begins. A package arrives, sometimes (as in this case) from far away. It appears to be packed with affection for the product inside. There is a note. A carton is opened; a bottle is beautiful; the insides seems dreamy; the results are epic.

So goes our encounter with Noer Organics Atelier.

The brand was founded with a vision of true back-to-nature organic skincare, using the purest and most potent ingredients. The mission of the brand is to connect the poetry of nature with our skin, and every product is created and described in a way that can only be described as deeply romantic. Perhaps as a result of this emotional chemistry, the formulas surprised me.

The Masquerade Purifying Mask comes in a bottle, but when you pour it, a beige sand appears. Now normally I wouldn’t copy and paste an ingredient list, but this one is pure poetry: Australian Midnight Black clay, Rhassoul clay, Australian Ivory clay, French Pink clay, Kaolin Pink clay, Buttermilk, Raw Cacao, Mung Beans, Oats, Papaya, Niagara Grape juice, Apple Pectin, Black Cherry, Maqui Berry, Pomegranate, Ginger, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Sandalwood, Gotu Kola, Gingko Bilboa, Lotus, Marshmallow Root, Rosehip, Aspen Bark, Aloe Vera, Camu Camu, Chamomile, Carrot Seed, Frankincense, Activated Charcoal (coconut origins), and Rhodiola.

! This is not normal ! In a good way. (She can also make you a dairy-free version if you’re vegan or have allergies).

What I love about this product is that you can add a little water to a lot of powder and create a true thick mask, or you can add a lot of water to a little powder and create an exfoliating and purifying face wash.

The Cleansing Balm is similarly surprising in that it is both scrubby and soft and moisturizing - waxy and cleansing at the same time. I love using it on dry (as in, not wet) skin and removing it with the cloth included. I’m dying to try the rest of the line…

You will have to wait awhile for these products to ship to you from Singapore, but true love is worth it!
