Like so many indie beauty founders, Sarah Biggers-Stewart’s clean beauty line Clove + Hallow was born out of darkness. For months, the professional makeup artist was plagued with mysterious symptoms that kept her bedridden and led her to a complete 360 holistic life makeover that cleaned out her system, her mental space, her pantry and … then her makeup bag.

Combining her makeup and color/tone expertise with her newfound understanding of clean living, Sarah created an assortment of cosmetics around a 15 ingredient max list, taking the confusion out of the “definition” of clean by reassuring her customer that each ingredient had been deeply researched for safety and complied to the stricter EU standard of safety. Needless to say this means no parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance and flavor, talc, PEG-s, formaldehyde-donors.

Winner of both a Women’s Health & Essence award, the Lip Glaze is an excellent balance of creamy moisture, color and shine.
